Given the fast approaching end to the financial year, a small but very excited group of Members and Guests turned up to Palmer Gold Coast for our event last week. The weather was absolutely perfect and the course was in spectacular condition. We would really need to go back more than 12-months to find greens close to the high quality of those at Palmer Gold Coast. There was no indication that more than 350mm of rain fell just 5 days before our own visit.

The proved another great example of bigger is not always better. The discussion amongst those in attendance was creative and extremely fruitful; just the way we like it to be. A big welcome to Jason Klos (Silkwood Homes) and Corne Lategan (Biz Video) who joined us for the first time. Based on our conversation, I am sure it won't be your last.

Congratulations to Matt Hart (St George Bank) who stood on top of the podium at the end of the day. Matt's playing partners made the comment they were in awe of what he was able to do. Filling the other podium positions were Corne Lategan and Jeff Blaszkowski (Burliegh Tourism). Nathan Scott went agonisingly close to winning himself a new Vehicle Wrap courtesy of the team at Grafex.

A reminder to everyone, our Foretune events are held on the 2nd Thursday of each month for the remainder of the year. While out on the course and the following day we were receiving SMS and emails asking when the next event was. It was unfortunate those people missed this wonderful afternoon, but we are hoping to see everyone at Arundel Hills on Thursday, 14 July.

The registration for that next event will be sent out within the next 48 hours. I can only encourage everyone to register when you receive the email; don't wait and risk missing out because you had a date wrong.
